CONGRATULATIONS
Now that the
2008 season has
begun; let's
admire and
congratulate
someamazing and
impressive
accomplishments
leading up to
this superb 2008
season.Congratulations
to former
N.Y.Mets pinch
hitter Lenny
Harris. His 212
pinch hits
remain an all
time major
league record.
And
congratulations
to former
American League
MVP Juan
Gonzalez. The 38
year old
Gonzalez has 434
home runs. And
after sitting
out the last two
seasons Gonzalez
is attempting a
comeback with
the St.Louis
Cardinals. And
congratulations
to Hall of Fame
pitcher Nolan
Ryan. On
February 6th
Ryan was named
President of the
Texas Rangers.
And
congratulations
to Yankees
designated
hitter and first
baseman Shelley
Duncan. It looks
like Duncan will
start against
all left handed
pitchers. New
Yankees manager
Joe Girardi will
not fall into
the same trap
that Joe Torre
did. The
Yankees are
overloaded with
left handed
hitters.
And I promise
you that if
manager Girardi
starts lefties
Johnny Damon;
Bobby Abreu;
Jason Giambi;
Hideki Matsui
and Robinson
Cano all in the
same lineup
against left
handed pitchers,
the Yankees will
be lucky if they
score 2 runs per
game.
