RETIREMENTS

After 48 years as a player, manager and executive, future Hall of Famer Lou Pinella announced his retirement on August 22, 2010. The 66 Year old Pinella retired to take care of his ailing mother. Lou's record with the Cubs was 316-293. Overall Lou had a won/ lost record of 1835-1713 with the Yankees, Reds, Mariners, Rays, and Cubs. After a lifetime of being proud of her son, watching her son achieve, and  knowing that her son has lived his dreams may she find comfort and peace at this time as he is coming home to be with her.  That is his motivation, his love, his respect and honor.   There is nothing more to say.
