He was recently involved in the signing of two young prospects from the Israeli Baseball League. Twenty eight year old catcher, Eladio Rodriguez, and twenty three year old Australian outfielder, Jason Rees, a league batting champ, co MVP and Home run title. But the real hero in this nostalgia nuggett is Hank Steinbrenner. Despite the fact that many people think Hank is the opposite of his father; he really isn't. He may be quiet, shy and low profile; but that is perfect for the 21st Century New York Yankees. Hank, George and his staff; especially the updated front office; will know exactly what to do and precisely who to keep and who to sign. Just you wait and see.
